What kind of wire is that snare wire? Is that picture hanging wire?

is there an advantage of hanging the guyoy instead of just placing it beside some coals? just curious

@JRVenne I supose the tip on the flame from the fire could be hotter than the base of the flame and coals, but really this is just one of many options.

@JRVenne It all depends on what your doing. Many time the bottle can get knocked or fall over if just sat in the coals.

I like it, always a fan of improvised gear. I like this because it is stuff I would normally carry with me in my pack or Yak when I fish.
