@IrishCat04 the stains are dirt he dried to dig up Diana after a missil crashed into her. he didnt want her to know he actually had feelings andd cared so he hid his hands thinking she wouldnt know he tried to dig her up. Its a really great episode! You should watch it! Its on youtube!

Batman could never really give himself to anyone because of multiple reasons; whats there to give, he is essentially, and tragically, his work (i.e. he simply can't stop being batman). He has defined himself by his pain so is he really worthy to be in a relationship with anyone?

These are just a few of the questions a fundamentally broken person like Bruce would have to consider before bringing yet another person into his life.

It's the end of Only a Dream part 2.

Why is he dreaming? Well he had a hard time to same Hawkgirl, GL, Superman and Flash from a Dr. Destiny, that attacked the league at their dreams and at the time he was already without any sleep for 2 days or something...and he couldn't sleep bc otherwise he would be attacked too and he had to save the other leaguers (you know, die in dreams, die at reality). After the whole adventure he needed a small nap. :)

In theory, Diana(Wonder Woman) or Clark (Superman) will live longer than we ordinary mortals improving the odds that they will have more opportunities to find lovers. WW might hook up with Batman in the future. I hope so since she understands why he the way he is. In Batman Beyond Batgirl got married and protects her husband. Batman (Bruce Wayne) could have a similiar relationship with WW. He did admit to himself he was too old to be Batman so he got Terry. Should he marry WW? I hope so.
