i was there in sept./08 and was blown away by stonehenge.... but was disappointed in that you cant walk among the stones... but i can see why english heritage has made it a closed off area... i would love to walk among the stones but all the people would ruin it in no time... i used to imagine it as standing alone in a field so it was almost a shame to see the reality... salisbury is an amazing town to visit though... be sure to get drunk at the haunch of venison!!!
