I do agree that animals shouldn't be killed for fur coats now, but what about back when that was the only way our ancestors could survive? And my other question is that if PETA is so against hurting the animals in this way, then why do the people they send to infiltrate these places that harm animals sit there and record all of the animals being tortured? Everyone who wears fur and eats meat knows they are a part of the death of the animals and as much as PETA and its members may not like it, its going to keep happening. I stopped eating meat and i never had wore fur, and i understand that peta cant make the whole world vegetarian or vegan but it sure did help me. Sometimes fur is neccesary, although not quite as much any more, given the amount of synthetic altertnatives. But why is eating meat sad? I don't eat red meat, but only because I don't like the taste of it. Meat provides certain nutrients one needs, and not everybody can afford healthy alternatives.
