Excellent review as always, and I've bought the Silver edition, I will say the phone is good and the OLED screen is bight and clear - really is a shame that it never got a UK Launch, though the warranty is supported in the UK as I checked prior to purchase, the Xperia X2 comes with the ITS (International Traveller Service), the downside is a repair may take upto 21days I am advised because parts my need to be sorced by the SBE Repair Centre.

The somewhat slow CPU and the resistive screen are disappointing and I still don't know why Sony is sticking with the Panels interface....it really hasn't been particularly good.

The design of the phone looks really good though, but its a Sony so you would expect really nice looking, well made hardware.

Really? have you seen how much of this ROM X1 can handle with no problems whatsoever? They are using the same amount of ram and processor. I do not see what it is that should hinder x1 from being able to work at least as good as x2.

HTC Touch Pro 2's definitely a good choice! To compare with X2, it overwhelms by all aspects. And the most important reason is that, Touch Pro 2 is available, and X2, to be frankly, we haven't known the release day yet!

Maybe x10 is going to be better. But do not forget that the x2 has a smaller screen (it does not matter, it's the pixles that actually gives you more space. things will ONLY look larger on x10) with organic LED technology, it has stereo speakers and keyboard. And it's the keyboard that really gives the everyday bussiness man the x2 as the clear choice and the better battery life.

SE products are well designed with good quality. Only one problem is that SE takes it too long to lauch a new product, which makes it lose the pace when compared with other brands.

I think SE makes good quality phones but i dont understand why they make such basic phones. IF they would make more phones like the Xperia or Idou they would be good but they make simple bar phones all the time
