Around 5000 points, Vectrex Berzerk used to glitch up and you'd get some scrambled version of the game for about a screen or two. After the game calms down, you wind up with some ungodly amount of points, and the robots shoot so fast you get insta-gibbed by the robots' fire.

I remember when I played this at the higher levels the robot eyes spun really fast. The robots and Otto moved ridiculously fast too. Not sure if that was a glitch.

I've played this game for 20-something years and I never get tired of it. As a kid, GOT YOU HUMANOID always scared me (it still does a little). I used to get scared when your scores REALLY goes Berzerk. Now, the game gets more challenging from there. I can spend over a half hour while the game is Berzerked. One "Berzerk" will get you infinite lives. Sometimes you may get a freebie when you start a new board. My usual high scores range between 13,000 and 19,000 without Berzerking. Awesome game.

My vectrex has the same problem up and down wont spring back to the center kinda weird. I need a new controller I wish they tolled me that the controller was a bit messed up but I love berzerk on it! I hope you also do Cosmic Chasum!
