The reason we have so little fans going is because the weather is so unpredictable during summer, its so hot outside its almost impossible to go to a day game, & unlike other places there are more things to do in Miami like go to the beach or go on an air boat to the everglades.

Then they changed their logo and uniforms to some kind of weird like Art Deco-abstract art something or other while their old look was classic and simple. I honestly don't know where this team is going, but one things for sure. With a $512 million, mid 30K seating, with air conditioning they're going to stay for a while.

Most of the MLB ballparks built in the last 10 years were built in or near the downtown area of the cities, where there are other attractions like clubs, bars, coffee houses, etc. nearby. Dowtown Miami on the site of the old Miami Arena would have been perfect. Bayside is blocks away & offers quite a few attractions. Fans would also have a short drive to South Beach. The decsision makers dropped the ball on this one.
this stadium should of been built somewhere else not in Little Havana a neighhood full of crime, shoplifters, carjackers and sex offenders. rather built a church on that land.

At one point, they were thinking about building it on the site of the old Miami Arena, but they said had it been built there, it wouldn't have been ready for the 2012 season. RIght now construction is ahead of schedule. The Miami Arena location downtown would have been great, bcz Bayside is only a few blocks away & South Beach is such a short drive.

The reason we have so little fans going is because the weather is so unpredictable during summer, its so hot outside its almost impossible to go to a day game, & unlike other places there are more things to do in Miami like go to the beach or go on an air boat to the everglades.

A ball game inside just plain out sucks. Tampa's field didn't feel like I was at a ball game Retractable or not. Marlins can't fill a stadium cause Florida doesn't support pro sports. Look at the rays first place and only 16k Max in the stands. Lol go Phils

Then they changed their logo and uniforms to some kind of weird like Art Deco-abstract art something or other while their old look was classic and simple. I honestly don't know where this team is going, but one things for sure. With a $512 million, mid 30K seating, with air conditioning they're going to stay for a while.

Most of the MLB ballparks built in the last 10 years were built in or near the downtown area of the cities, where there are other attractions like clubs, bars, coffee houses, etc. nearby. Dowtown Miami on the site of the old Miami Arena would have been perfect. Bayside is blocks away & offers quite a few attractions. Fans would also have a short drive to South Beach. The decsision makers dropped the ball on this one.

At one point, they were thinking about building it on the site of the old Miami Arena, but they said had it been built there, it wouldn't have been ready for the 2012 season. RIght now construction is ahead of schedule. The Miami Arena location downtown would have been great, bcz Bayside is only a few blocks away & South Beach is such a short drive.
