@Foody92 Not quite, Blade wasn't white but he wasn't as badass as today (he was dressed like robin hood and wore goggles) until the movie's popularity changed the comics version. The black Nick Fury is from a parallel universe (Ultimate Universe) where everything is modern and cool. Ultimate Nick Fury was based on Samuel L Jackson, and they managed to get him to play him in the movies.

Who is the most powerful Black super hero? I got a marvel character that would rock the marvel universe. He would be a Black super hero but he would start off as a bad guy because he would be a Harold for galactus. It would make him one of the most powerful beings in the universe and he would take on characters through out marvel comics until he sacrifices himself to save humanity. But he would have an establishment in space and his daughter would take over. Someone get at me about it.

@JuKa3177 Actually, there are several green lanterns from earth: Guy Gardner and Kyle Rainer are also Lanterns (and also white). The only reason they went with Hal Jordan in the movie, is because he is the most identifiable of all Lanterns (and he's not even the first lantern, Alan Scott was)

@JuKa3177 In the late 70's, Hal Jordan resigned to the Corps, and was replaced by John Stewart (the black GL). Eventually Jordan returned, and Stewart remained active as a Lantern. I was really hooked up with comics during my childhood and early adolescence; but eventually I moved from superhero comics to mature comics, such as Swamp Thing, Sandman, Preacher, etc.

Pretty much everyone in the early comics was black. I don't know if they changed it for another Spawn because I haven't read a Spawn comic in 10 years, but the original was definitely black.

The ones I can list right off the bat are Jubilee, Amadeus Cho, Shang-Chi, Cassandra Cain (ex-Batgirl), Katana, Sunfire (Hiro Yashida), the current incarnation of the Atom (Ryan Choi), Karate Kid, Rai, Doctor Light (Kimiyo Hoshi), and most recently the Chinese supergroup The Great Ten.
