I agree... there's no doubt in my mind that this game will be unbelievably good just like every other FF game ever made (besides MAYBE ffx-2) the trailer certainly doesn't give me the need to rush out and buy a PS3 so I can play it...

Having said that I'll undoubtedly be purchasing both the console and game at some point but for now I don't feel anywhere near as excited as I was for FF8, 9 or 10!

Well this trailer was more focused on emotion rather than awesome and epic gameplay and plot. In fact I was disappointed that I didn't get the thrill of watching this trailer than the other trailers released, although I did get plenty of chills. But that was probably not what they were going for since they did enough epic trailers already.

I hate that squenix copped out and sold out. Final Fantasy XIII deserves to be on only the PS3, not on simultaneous release on the 360 as well. I have nothing against people who play on that system, but lets face it, the red ring of death isnt a lie and microsoft just sucks at making home console systems. They need to stick to just regular computers instead of pretending that they are any competition for sony.

I agree with the hate and loathing against Microsoft, but Xbox did and has dominated the playing field for young adults and adults in terms of the games it has on it's system compared to PS3. Wii dominated them both, but that's because it was finally something that appealed to the whole family. So I'm not blaming them for putting it on 360, I wan't Square Enix to continue to make good games and they need money for that. PS3 won't offer them as much money as 360 can. :( Facts suck, I know.

If I'd had gotten a PS3 then I could have had this god-damn masterpiece.The only good game I know of on the xbox is N+, and that is purely from simplicity. also, I need a PSP for the Kingdom Hearts, and it annoys me.

Oh, I've seen and listened to the English version. I just didn't know if the mistakes that person was referring to were based on the English dub being the 'proper' version, or else he (she?) meant that they were fluent in Japanese, and the subtitles in this particular upload were somehow incorrect.

The possibility remains open, however, that they were just being a jerk.

And as I see it it seems to have elements of both FFX and FFVII, which is a very good thing indeed, after XII -.- The atmosphere is cool, too, but I like the story parts in this trailer especially, since we've already seen the battle system more than often enough ... (and I personally judge an FF much more by its story than by its battle gameplay ... )
