From what i hear empire tw is really good now because they fixed a lot of bugs. Shogun was really funny and fun to play. Rome tw was great all round. And Medieval i didn't play it much. what you should do is go to gamefaqs (.) com they have reviews and things

that's how a phalanx works. They get into a narrow path like a bridge and get into a tight phalanx with really long spears and just slaughter the other side. That's why the Spartans killed so many Persians at Thermopylae.

The Romans had well trained soldiers and massive hordes of them, plus Greece was weakened because they were constantly fighting each other instead of working together.

Ya the only reason why the romans beat the greeks is because greece was under economic strain and no common ruler. They failed to unit in time to stop the romans.
