@ManceRahman I started with P4 so when playing P3 I just thought, hey even though Personas can exist in different worlds (TV, Tartarus etc) I guess there are different prophecies, belief structures and maybe more than one way to bring about the worlds end, kind of like real religion and stuff I guess

Erebus. Nyx is not hostile or evil or anything. Nyx itself is completely harmless... unless she has been called upon. Nyx wasn't sealed because Nyx wasn't the problem. It was Erebus that was trying to summon Nyx to destroy everything. I hope that helps

Yeah that big two-headed black thing they fight is Erebus who is the accumulated malice that built up over humanity's history from those who died. As Metis said he didn't create the Great Seal to hold back Nyx it was a seal so that Nyx could never be touched, in this case by Erebus.

Nyx right now is sleeping her awakening will be the destruction of everything. That's what Erebus is trying to do.

Yeah Erebus can't truly be defeated until Humanity changes its ways. So it can be revived again and again. The MC is there as a seal to make sure Erebus can never touch Nyx again.
