  • Didn't I see Gillian Welch at the Exotic Ladies booth?

  • @solarman33 Im pretty sure that was her and david rawlings at @0:44

  • A great song ruined by the hordes of college frat crowds. A modern day freebird.

  • @psychonavigator Drink bleach as soon as possible

  • @richardrenteria1 Witty, hope you didn't cut too much time out of your day enginging in latently homoerotic activities with your frat brothers to come up with that one.

  • @psychonavigator Barely any, being successful takes up a lot of my time.

  • the "north" aint got shit on southern music and heritage. just sayin...

  • Philmont!(:

  • @ 1truemisfit, it's a Bob Dylan song originally.

  • hard to believe its originally a John Lee Hooker song

  • @1truemisfit Actually its not entirely a Dylan song. It was a partially created by Dyaln in the 90's but never finished and Ketch Sector finished it. They have a co-writing agreement on the song.

  • @1truemisfit Accually John Lee has a song called Rock Me Mama. Different son.

  • without a doubt, one of the most real and raw best songs ever made, they made it without the idea of success and created brilliance !!

  • im nt reali into country but this song is amazing

  • @67PontiaccGTO Uh, loving this song means you ARE into country. Dumbfuck.

  • Oooh man, how many timews have I not stand beside some road, hoping and waiting for that next ride, softly humming this song. it's magical. As Kerouac put it: The road is life!

  • I know it's not their only good song, right? I just love this one, though.

  • @jamesbcomstock Yes it is, they have a side project with the front man of ocms. Delayed response but it most def is them.

  • I like this hillbilly music, its great, my hubby is from North Carolina but is losing his hillbilliness and turning Aussie)

  • @angie4josh aussie's are hillbillies too

  • @tbomberus, yes that is Gillian Welch and David Rawlings at the ticket counter

  • I would kill to find a band and write music so we could harmonize like this....

  • Is that Gillian Welch hanging out at the ticket counter?I think it is,by Jeezum.I could probably scroll back through the comments to see if someone else got the same question answered, but I'm just so fricking unmotivated lately.

  • Reminds me so hard of Bonnaroo, these guys are fantastic.

  • If your North Carolina Born & still live here you have got to know and love this song!.

  • its my day off. chillin, in a great mood... listening, i feel like this is a much better song for when you're feelin down

  • Against Me's cover of this song is fucking amazing.

  • greatest camp song ever

  • The reason you have only heard a portion from Bob is because he only wrote the corus. The words are from old crow.

  • This song is now forever associated with my hometown bar and two-steppin' ;)

  • One of the very few bands that deserves the accolades, the hype and the attention.

  • @bigefresh2, this isn't country, it's more bluegrass

  • The strangest thing about this video is the absence of the fiddle--even though it leads the whole business off!

  • @vibratingstring There is a fiddle.

  • oh wow thats very awesome

  • OOOHHHWEEEEEE!!!! Dat wud a mighy fine ah pickin an a singin!!!!!

  • i dont trust the kind of people who use in faux-"folksy" accents!

  • i don't normally listen to music like this, but one night a cute tennessee girl insisted on showing it to me and i've loved it ever since

  • @ProSitu did you pop one off in her b-hole??? just asking!!!!

  • LB907 has no idea about good music. How could a song that was written by Bob Dylan be a bad song?

  • Comment removed

  • i dont even like country or folk or whatever this is and its still a good song to me

  • I love this song it stays in my head all the time!! Just wish the video was better.

  • I love this song but the video is not the kind that i was expecting

  • Great song. I'm sick of those who insist on conformity and that everyone likes the same music they do. At least people came here, outside of their usual music, and gave it a shot.

  • I dislike this song and dislike people who like this song as well

  • Help ocms is going to break up post thins to atleast 2 more vids .if you reAlly like ocms post this to 5 other vids if you just read this comment then your a looser and you like rap

  • GUYS HELP OCMS IS GOING TO BREAK UP

  • check out Blackwater Outlaws' version is much better

  • Whoever disliked this is a fag and doesn't know any good music

  • Just heard these guys on ABC Radio National in Australia. Timeless tunes :)

  • I got introduced to this video in 2009 in my dorm room at Elrod Hall in the U.of Montana.. Simply love it...

  • Wust! *.* <3

  • FaF

  • If there's music in heaven, at least in the American section lol, it sounds like this.

  • Prefer Mumford & Sons version

  • @awsinger1 try listenin to the version by ''against me''

  • @skpures nothin personal but i thought that version was awful but thats just my opinion.

  • This song is FaF

  • Explo...

  • great song but im wondering what miley cyrus is doing in a pool with uncle joey

  • personally I think this song is much better covered or sung acoustically by people by a fire.

  • @colorrot AGREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED. <3

  • @colorrot could not agree more man.

  • @colorrot were you on kic?

  • @colorrot BLC?

  • @colorrot personally, I think this song is much better when sung by a large group of really drunk people :)

  • @lTheeMCl pretty sure i experience that at least once a month ! woo hah

  • @lTheeMCl - two thumbs up!! That's very funny....

  • @lTheeMCl lol

  • @lTheeMCl That's because you're a tasteless piece of gutter trash.

  • @lTheeMCl Just saw that last night. You are very right.

  • @colorrot This sounds like a song some old folky anarchist would write on their front porch with a straw hat on drinking some moonshine!

  • @1truemisfit ive listened to this song many times while sitting on the porch drinking moonshine :)

  • I just can't get this song out of my head. Its great.

  • folk! reppin from nc

  • I love this song!!

  • if you dont like this song then i dont like you

  • I saw a band in a bar in Fairfax, CA last Wednesday night which included one member of Poor Man's Whiskey. For their last number they unplugged and did Wagon Wheel. Less than half the people knew it , but still it ended in a sing along. Definetly the most soulful song of the performance. I'm not sure its the "Freebird" of a generation as one fellow said, but I sure wouldn't mind if it was!

.Actually, I feel I'm part of both generations!

  • They have so many good songs. There's even one (cocaine habit), a cover of an old thirties song that mentions my hometown. Either way, check out their other songs, you won't be disappointed. If you like this style, check out Mumford and Sons as well.

  • this only song i know by them really

  • A guy friend just told me about this song and he wants me to sing it lol

  • I was just in St. John's Newfoundland and there is a pub called O'Reilly's and there is a band called The Irish Descendants and they do this song waaayyy better. If you ever get in this neck of the woods, I highly recommend that you check out O'Reilly's and listen to the house band play this song.

  • @chairmoistener Lucky you my friend. That s sounds to me like the sweetest combination possible! ♥

  • Nice song! Greets from Holland (go touring here!!)

  • I'm not sure genre matters in this case, or others for that matter. Good music is just that. Genres were made as another form of stereotyping. If you like it, you do, and if you don't you don't. Wether it's Dylan, Guthrie, or Cash, it doesn't matter about what other songs you do or don't like in a "genre". Old Crow Medicine Show is great, that's all that really matters. If you really want to break it down, wagon wheel sounds like OAR and Bob Dylan had Flogging Molly throw in a little gael

  • I don't trust the kind of person that would dislike this song.

  • They are considered "Punkgrass"

  • hey, momma rock me...

  • Old crow is the bees knees

  • Love.
