I think that they made this album louder just to appeal more to the whole emo / gothic scene. In my oppinion, this album would've been a lot better if it wouldn't be so goddamn loud. The lyrics are there, but the sound is just utter garbage.

Except for this demo version, of course. It's actually "dark" and not just noise. It's one of the few songs that make me feel like I'm in space, drifting.

Oh, and by the way... biking to this in beautiful summer landscapes is really something. :-)
