  • and what about the apps

  • Hey Mr Linux

I got a problem with GTK Ipod manager

I tried to add my iPhone 4 to the list of devices when its plugged in with the USB but nothing happens???. I tried clicking it again and nothing happens??

    What should I do??

I want to manage my iPhone via Linux :(

  • @jaymitra95 -If I'm not mistaken, the iPhone isn't working as of right now with gtk-ipod manager. Only [or right now] iPhone: 2G, 3G, and 3Gs [NOT 4]. iPod Touch: 2G, 3G, [NOT 4G].

I'm sorry, maybe later on it will work.

  • Nice program. But what about ipod apps?

Or is iTunes the only program you can use for that?

  • @blackoutworm -For right now itunes is the only place. But Itunes in wine want do it.

  • @MrLinuxLive I can't get iTunes to work with my iPod in wine because of the location. Itunes reads the ipod from the windows location and not the /media/ directory.

  • @blackoutworm -I know, I just told you it want do it. Wine developers have been trying to improve that, but haven't any luck. If I find a way around that; I will let you know.

  • @MrLinuxLive Thanks. It should work if they can some how point or shortcut /media/ipod to /home/user/.wine/drive_d or something like that.

  • @blackoutworm -yup!
