  • That is some serious Southern cheese grits. What made these people think they could sell such ridiculously cornpone-y crap to a bunch of tough, wary, hardscrabble North Country folk? Cheapjack condescension may work in Alabama, but it's just going to piss off rural Northeasterners, who do not like being taken for fools. I'm a native of an adjacent district, and I knew in advance that Hoffman was going to lose because of this, despite the polls.

  • Not too bad for someone who was running as a third party. There is more to come. Watch for Blanche Lincoln to loose here in Arkansas 2010.

  • If I lived in Hoffman's district, I would certainly vote for him. That's ok, though. I live in Virginia and the Republicans swept all three top state offices tonight.

  • LOL, you are all the same country, stop tearing yourself apart

  • Go Hoffman!!!

  • no more fake conservatives! the game is over! GO doug Go Ronnie Regan is looking down with a smile!

  • GO GETTEM DOUG.

  • BTW - America has NO tolerance for the radical left. Had Obama shown his true colors he would not be sitting in the white house. I would have to say you have problems - I have a European visa to flee the USA after Obama crashes the currency and bankrupts the nation. I wonder why Obama still cannot be truthful about his real plans to fundamentally change the USA? Hmmm because America wants NO part of his unconstitutional plan for the US. Obama is a radical - thank God people are now awake!

  • Hi all23nooooo, Not only is Obama extending the policies he has magnified them. Obama's spending must stopped or America is doomed!! We need more people in office like Hoffman. Pelosi, Reid, Obama and everyone who could careless about the massive debt needs to pack up and go. I am happy the GOP is not voting for any of these massive spending bills. The health care bill is a disgrace! Yes, we need reform but the right reform and these bills do not do that. Go Green - Recycle Congress!

  • Unfortunately special interest has no interest in people like Ron Paul, Doug Hoffman, or Peter Schiff, and don't spend millions on their campaigns. People only vote for the ones that have flashy speeches, designer families, and offer lots of free stuff. Political suicide is telling people what's really going on and what we're in store for. I hate the way this nation is heading, but with a federal reserve and groups of elites it's not going to change. Store food and stock clothing mate.

  • We need anyone who will hold the line against Palosi, Reid, and Obama. Hoffman is the man for the job! Say no to RINOs. We're pulling for you Hoffman!

  • Agree, there aren't even debates half the time, or everyone present in the house. BOTH SIDES pass bills without even reading the fuckin' things.

WE NEED GRIDLOCK! SHUT IT DOWN!

  • It is a disgrace bills are being written in such a massive size and it is a disgrace the bills are not being read and then voted into law. Here is the good news - the GOP is not voting for these massive unread bills. Currently, you can only blame the dems for the passage of bills which went unread. The GOP made mistakes in the past but they seem to have learned from the mistakes. We need to focus energy on Pelosi, Reid and Obama. They are writting these massive bills and passing them .

  • that's right. when you've got the same people pulling the strings, do you think it matters who is in power?

Republican or Democrat, they're both owned by special interests. There's only a few exceptions.

Ron Paul being the best known.

  • you tell 'em brother
