Normally I am not at all very fond of Norma, but Callas really makes it for me.

This is the best "Qual cor tradisti" I have ever heard, I even prefer it over the studio one of 1960. I can't quite put my finger on it why, there is a mystery here, a warmth of live singing which makes it superior to the studio recording.
