  • why guyatone would make a tube driven pedal without a true-bypass and then expect us to pay 200+ for it is beyond me

  • Joe Bonamassa uses the Guyatone... Good enough for me!!!

  • @sngncwby Does he? I've not heard or remembered hearing his trem tone. Cool!

  • @Passenger95 I dont get the "tone Sucker " thing. I use the Guyatone and if anything it adds dimension to my sound. Some times I just leave it on with intensity turned all the way off and it sound beautiful.

  • @scottylurch Cool! To each his own. One man's 'tone suck' is another man's 'tonal secret.' Glad it's working out for ya!

  • Yeah my Dad had literaly just bought the car and when he turned on the radio it was at the part where Tommy James is singing near the end of the song witht the tremolo my Dad said apparently "Jesus Christ I just spent $3,500 on this goddamn car and this radio is a piece of shit.

  • I've heard a couple songs as well that made me think my radio was breaking. And then some songs that made me wish me radio was breaking. hehehe

  • I like the guyatone one gives that nice Crimson and Clover sound. When that song first came out my Dad thought something was wrong with his radio and was slamming it with his hand only to find out later that was part of the song.

  • haha Really? That's like, the best thing I've ever heard! :-)

  • Unfortunately, no. Sorry. The one I ended up keeping was the Dr. Scientist Tremolessence, that's in a subsequent demo video. I might end up selling it in the near future, though, to try to help fund an amp purchase. If I do, I'll let you know!

  • I liked the Cusak overall - seems like a sweet pedal. I also dug the led tempo indicator.

  • Ya, I ended up keeping the Cusack out of them all. And a week later, now I'm selling it. *Sigh* Guitar players. But it does sound really sweet, and ya...the tempo led is gorgeous. :-)

  • I do the same thing - purchase something, keep it for awhile, then sell it to buy something else. The only way to really tell about a pedal is to compare it against another with your equipmnt, taking time to A-B devices (or, A-B-C-D!)

  • Have you ever played a Vox Vibravox or an EHX Wiggler? How do they compare to a Guyatone VTX regarding fast tremolo sounds?

  • I've not tried those yet. But I didn't really land on any of the trems in this video, so maybe I'll do another shootout in the future and put the EHX and the Vox in it. :-)
