The strings that Sungha is using sound alot like SILVER-Compound (Combination of classical metal strings 6E, 5A, 4D, 3G, steel 2B, and 1E) . I play a Seagull mini jumbo guitar wearing FS510/Silver-Compound guitar strings made by YAMAHA. Low tension strings for finger picking. Most of bronz strings are high tensions and made for strummings, not for finger picking. Silver compound strings bring out the most beautiful wounded acoustic sounds like Sungha's. Not too many guitar players know this.

The audio is about 3/4th of a second slower than the video. You can tell by the sound of the strings being slapped. Besides, no one other than him created this version of the song, so it couldn't have been fake. He takes originals and adds a whole lot of other things to it.
