A remade Socom 2 would still never be as good as the original. It was not the game itself that made it so glorious, it was the community around the game.
I'm sorry to say that this community no longer exists. Where in Socom 2 the voice chat channel was never silent unless you were the last one alive (or the first to die), I can play full-length sessions in any game on the ps3 without hearing a single word. Socom 2 died and it should stay dead, for the sake of the good memories we have.

I threw a grenade and the last enemy shot me. He ran up to me and the dropped grenade blew and killed him.We won the match.

If we worked with slant six, we could have gotten more old maps and better online support.
