Wii won the graphics and PS2 won the controls... So... yeah.... I prefer Wii version... great graphics! PS2 version also for great controls and actions! But the best is Wii!

Well since i saw this video i might as well comment on this for you all. The way how PS2 and Wii are made for this game. Im very impress on how well the PS2 version almost keep up with the Wii version. But I do say you can tell there is a big different on graphics on this game. And also the gameplay for both Wii and PS2 are very much different as well for controllers. Now is it just me or sonic runs faster in the PS2 version over the Wii? And the shadings and lighting and sonic is better on wii.

You do have to realize that PS2 is about 6 years older than the Wii, so it is pretty impressive that you can compare the two.

Well, OBVIOUSLY the Wii has better graphics than the PS2, there's a 6 year difference between their hardware. I haven't played the PS2, but it's probably better in controls, considering (Even with the GameCube controller) it's still awkward to play sometimes. Why is the slide Y if B and X don't have anything?

I wouldn't say it looks like glass, it's the natural sheen that his fur is supposed to have. Oddly enough they should have been able to create that effect one PS2, but decided not to. At least the Wii Unleashed isn't as shiny as Sonic Adventure DX. That was too shiny.

You guys don't understand the phrase, files are identical. 100%. Byte for byte. Exact same thing. Copy and paste. Rendering differences are affected by the hardware, so things like water do look different, and naturally the game lags less on PS3 hardware. However, the only things that are different on the PS3 disc that isn't the same as the 360 disc, is the music files, as well as the main game launcher.

@Irixion The none HD versions have shorter day stages and more and longer night stages. Also the leveldesign is different. Ps2 and Wii are the same (content), but the HD versions are different. This is just a graphic comparison.

I don't see the point with these videos, especially when the game files are nearly the same or identical, just lower poly counts for models and some graphical enhancements taken out for PS2. Really don't get the Sonic 06 comparisons since the files are 100% identical with each other on either 360 or PS3
