If this were any other character other than Bianca, I would say this is karmic revenge for J.R. sleeping with Bianca's girlfriend, Frankie years ago. (Yes, they were both high, confused and generally messed up teenagers at the time.) Soaps used to make connections to their own history. Even when Bianca was in the middle of J.R and Babe's relationship, I don't believe that part of Bianca and J.R.'s long and involved history was mentioned.

I have always had mixed feelings about "Breese" even thought AMC was showing great strides in showing intimate scenes between gay couples. They did have tremendous potential, but ultimately crashed & burned w/ the writing (Chis Pratt making Bianca's dreadful & RANDOM character change). Reese was one of the reasons why Bianca had Gabby. It was also Eden Riegel's last story line before her departure in 2010
