usually when something like that happens only the part that melts or gets deformed by explosion tilts to one side and falls(not inward as it happened in 9/11) and the main body stays straight and doesn't collapse

I was in 2nd grade when that happened. we weren't allowed to talk about it at school, and I was just leaving for my bus when my mom was watching the news, and I saw the second plane hit. for example why did the twin towers fell just straight down and not sideways as it was supposed to be?
The fireman who worked there said that they heard explosions all over the twin towers after the planes crashed into to them.
Also why weren't there any other damaged buildings except twin towers and WTC 7?
And talking about WTC 7 it also collapsed but no plane or anything else hit it?

This is actauuly really sad. When i found out about this i was in grade 3. My mom told me what happened and I didnt really understand. But now im 14 and I now understand every bit. Flight 93, you fought back, and know it is our turn to fight back. Everyone on that plane is a Hero. And for all of the American and Canadian troops fighting in Afganistian, GOD BLESS and you hope all of you come home to your families and loved ones. And GOD BLESS all of those who lost their lives on Septemeber 11th.

I was in 2nd grade when that happened. we weren't allowed to talk about it at school, and I was just leaving for my bus when my mom was watching the news, and I saw the second plane hit. It was horrifying. That's one of the reasons why I'm joing the Us Air Force. God Bless the USA and Israel, and God Bless the Troops! Remember Flight 93, they were the first to fight the terrorists, it's OUR turn now. Let's show em what we got!

i was in 3rd grade when this happen and i remember clearly as i watched on the news as the towers came down. i went to ny 2 years later and there was a large empty hole there and i felt my heart break as i watched people lay folwers there. then this summer i returned my hotle was a block in front of where the trade centers had once stood but now stand the beingings of freedom tower it shows we aren't afriad u may knock us down but we will rise agian.

When the building came down i cry so hard that i lost friends in WTC who didn't get out in time and i remember them every year on the sept 11. This song is so true and i LIKE what person has done with the song and everytime i hear the song i stop and think back to what happen we should remember what happen all over the world. I was in the south tower when the plane hit in 2001 i was visiting a friend there when the plane it the whole building shock and we didn't know what happen. I tired to get people out of the building as fast i could at least i got a couple dozen out as well myself.

Hey Chanbara, if we rigged the towers to fall. then why did two planes crash into it? Th reason why they fell is because the steel inside the building melted. Like everything else steel has a melting point.When the plane hit, it knocked off all of the fire coating.Another reason is that is was meant to take a blow from a boeings 707 not a boeings 757
