well, that stock shock is terrible and bottoms out all the time, eventually i just moved on to a bigger bike with a beefier suspension and better brakes.

if you want to ride 2-up you should get a bigger bike... zoomers are small, the suspension will bottom out loaded with two, and the drum brakes aren't up to it. i went to a 650.

"the ruckus is just like the zoomer just an off road american version" -this is wrong. The Honda Ruckus (US-version) has a carburetor, unlike the Zoomer (EU, Japan, everywhere else) which has an electronic injection system. That's just about it, regarding differencies. :)

i live in the Pasadena area here in Sunny Southern California me and about 40 others got the Ruckus. At first I was like WTF a little scooter, but now, the Ruckus has become my most fav form of transportation and I have a brand new Cadillac CTS and a Yamaha R6 in the garage. I am currently working on getting a Big Ruckus motor in the little Ruckus. The Ruckus is by far the best looking scooter. Don't really like the Vespa or Zuma look.

I love the nakedness about them! not surrounded in a tonne of showy plastic, easy to customise and give them a personal touch.

Yeah, but I swapped mine for a naked bike in the end. For about 2k pounds plus the cost of "mods" they are better bikes (with more power) suited more to my minimalist needs.

Still, they kick arse in their own way, the little Zoomers. With disc brakes and 125cc they would take over the planet.

I have just purchased my `07 `Black` model today! I wanted an `Army` green one but they don`t do that colour in `07 in Japan. It will be ready for collection tomorrow, well excited! 1000 quid on the road here (I wonder what it is in England?). Before I knew they were called `Zoomer` my mates and I used to call them `Lego Bikes` when we first saw them, very mint they are.
