Supporting the troops, in my opinion, is voting to give them the financial support they need when somebody else has put them in harms way already. For references I cite CNN, where I viewed the debates. I agree about the middle east. They have been fighting over their religion for thousands of years, with no end in sight. Obama's a good guy, and his campaign against Hillary toughened him up for the general election. He seems like he's only attacking now because until recently he hasn't been able to focus on McCain, which he has tried to do in the past few months(hence the "downplaying"). And age is not an accurate measure of experience.

If you really think he'll do ok in office, sure. I'm not against Obama, in fact, I've been for him. I'm just saying that he lacks sufficient political experience to actually accomplish the things he says he will.

He can't do worse than Bush, right? And he has said that some of his plans can be enacted before the end of his first term in office. It will take time, but nothing good ever came easy (or quickly).
