I like how he just swoops down on bitches smoothly and it seems like there's no struggle whatsoever.

Me, on the other hand... I'm my biggest threat when I'm piloting a helicopter. Actually to say I can "pilot" a helicopter is being just way too generous.

You were getting locked on for most of the video... which means you must be pretty good. On Rush at the canals, I trolled the enemy base for the entire match, with a hijacked chopper. Had 2 engineers repairing me constantly, and at one point you could see 6 guys on the carrier with stinger missiles pointed at me. Went 25-0 that round...

Your spins in the chopper are ridiculous, solo flying's def' the way forward when playing with randoms. Gunner's who don't even know how to flare --> GTFO!!

You could use the Seat Switch method, or you could have a gunner with flares equipped and have twice the fire power. Personal preference I suppose. And you WERE making a montage so I can understand why you'd want to go solo.

@TeddyPicker2033 If i wasn't playing with randoms and had comms then having a gunner do it is by far better choice. But i was playing with randoms and didn't have voice comms so was easier to go solo.

i found the best way to deal with the constant attempts to lock on was to fly high at first. As soon as you hear the missile incoming change of tone (or slightly before) you need to seat switch (x on ps3), use flares (L1 as gunner) then seat switch back (x).

From there you will be able to see the rocket trail and you can focus on killing the guy with the stinger whilst still having flares as pilot if he manages to lock on again. Rinse + Repeat.

@nomchews If u release the throttle, put the nose down and hold the throttle as u get low the copter will swing and go really fast little practice and its easy to do. Check out my Scout Heli videos.
