My Mom bought one of these in 1982 or 83- I remember the picture quality to be ok. It dropped on the floor and that was the end of it- and the pictures inside were ruined, too. :-(
I got one of these for christmas. I took like 8 disk full of pictures over three years and only got 2 developed. The rest stayed in the garage for 15 years. I got them developed and they looked as good as the ones that I got developed back in the 80s. Mine took great pictures. not the best, but good enough. To bad they stop making them as they could have improved it I'm sure.
these cams were about 40 bucks at that time, my dad could not afford to buy one for us then, but I was fascinated by the idea of having one. the rich kids in our school used to bring them for birthday parties. I guess they were not rich, but we were poor then....

Big middle finger to anyone who's offended by the word CHRISTMAS!

My mom owned this camera. In fact, I still have it. Not a clue if it works or not.
The picture quality was pretty crappy. A Polaroid can take a better picture.

Haha, most of my childhood pictures between ages 2 and 10 were taken on a Disk camera! When we finally got a 35mm, I was baffled by it! :P

Ah, the good ol' 80's ... when you could actually say the word CHRISTMAS and not "holiday"!

Quality of video in this commercial is comparable to quality of photos from that godawful camera. Good Job!

@darun1 You think that's bad? I had a KNOCK OFF version of the disk camera that took even worse pictures than the Kodak version.....
