No. It's the tissue making that annoying sound! The sub and speakers are ALWAYS crystal clear. An amazing bit of kit - now for under £100!

no doesnt make that buzz sound. (ive had them for 2 years) z-2300 has lower bass but sound quality is worse than soundsticks, and not that clear
