TOEFL Speaking Question 5 Help

Dear Joseph,  I followed and practiced your tips and when I took TOEFL a month back my scores were R-27, L-28, S-23, W-27/ Total-105/120. Because of this my application to Engg. PhD at the University of Cambridge (which asks for a score of 100 or above) has satisfied the language requirements. I really thank you dear Joseph. I really recommend these videos to my friends who is preparing for TOEFL :)

@diuhuongvk AHH Mine wasnt so great. Reading section was bad ,very long passages man, i took 25 mins for first one then 20 for second and had to rush through for third one in just 15 mins. :(

But other sections were ok . lets see if i get a 100 which i want :)

If all the ideas belong to you it is very necessary that you take a copyright for the lessonssss!!!!! Because I am sure that many toefl teachers around the world present your ideas as they own them. I am not sure ıf I could explaın but what ı mean ıs your ideas of toefl must be protected cause they are copied...

Hi joseph, i wanted to ask you what we should say if there arent two sollutions. I mean that what if the other student support only one disicion. What we should say then? Because i just listen a discussion between two students and the student who didnt have the problem was telling the other student to follow one specific path.He didnt offer two sollutions but only one.

I read somewhere that its important to change the words , not say the same that we heard in the lecture. Is that true?

I have seen some other video guides for the IBT,and there are several expressions you could start with,every answer, so as long as you talk about the topic,personally I don't see any problem!

@Fmforever2 No, don't worry about your accent. Everybody have their own accent when they speak English. They score you based on your understanding of the topic. So be confident with your accent!

is it always structured like that? Because I'm practising with Longman Preparation CD-Rom, and the question 5 didn't come like that. That was a teacher speaking alone about Mount rushmore's history.

@maggycol In fact I was right. When I took the Toefl test, the speaking part was structured in a complete different way than in the longman CD-Rom. Fortunately I found Joseph's video before I took the test and scored pretty good.

thank you, so sad i dont have the money to be on your online class. it is the first time that i see videos that really help. last time i gave toefl, well first time i got 76 but because in the reading part i had 11 because i was nervious and the other parts i was ok l 21, s 23 and w21. now i will give the exam in a couple of weeks but i think im going to do better than last time. but i feel very nervious and i hope i will remember these tips.
