@Mirind0R Extreme Shock Tungsten Nytrilium Advanced Subsonic Rifle Ammuntion, 5.56mm/.223, 100 Grain, 980 fps, legal for civilian purchase ammo. Be careful who you call a noob! What kind of noob knows the difference between super and subsonic? Do you think I play MW2?
@Mirind0R "Extreme Shock" is the manufacturer. "Tungsten Nytrilium" is the material that makes it heavy and slow. It would cycle because there is no difference in the volume of gunpowder. It is certainly 5.56mm/.223. Look it up! Extremeshockusa(dot)com. It may be expensive and rare, but it proves I'm right and your wrong.
@Mirind0R This has nothing to do with 9mm. If your ex-military (which sounds like you are) you probably haven't heard of this stuff because infantry doesn't approve this ammo. It's more like for hostage rescue teams that want the bullet stuck in the hostiles body cause they don't want and exit wound to hit another hostage, therefore 9mm MP5's come in handy.
@Mirind0R You don't need to teach me, a 62 grain 5.56mm NATO bullet fires at 3100 fps. If you add a heavy metal called Tungsten Nytrilium, shape it as a bullet, it will way the bullet down to 100 grains. The heavier the bullet the slower it will go. It's basic physics. Extreme Shock is the only US Manufacturer that makes subsonic bullets that cycle in a suppressed AR/M16 series platform. Did you even look at the website?
@Mirind0R Your right about on thing, I may be 17, but at least I don't act like a 30 year old retard that can't get in the habit of being wrong and not googling some factual information. This is the 21st century, stop making it sound like nothings possible!
@IMFDB now i see what your mistake is: you read shit on google and you take it as "factual imformation".
i wasnt trying to insult you when i said to wait till 18 then get a rifle and start experimenting, because thats pretty much the only way you'll discover new things.
this video is pretty boring, def not worth continuing a discussion.
@Mirind0R No your taking me to literally, I used Google as a common example. All this info I get is strictly from their user friendly website, and confirmed that it actually works by YouTube videos, by simply typing in "Extreme Shock cycling subsonics" into the search box. You should try it sometime :)
@Mirind0R Tungsten and depleted uranium have a hard, yellow plastic coating around them to keep the round from touching the rifling. I dont know what this plastic is, but it is pretty tough. I have an extra .50 bmg laying around here somewhere.
@IMFDB heavy and slow always penetrates better than fast and light provided its the same caliber. your argument makes no sense, and im sure no hostage teams of my balls use the ammo u made up.
wait till you're 18, buy yourself a rifle, start experimenting and get your fucking facts straight kid.
@Mirind0R I'm not gonna lose this conversation due to your lack of facts and life threatening one track mind! If you'd get your facts straight and do some research you would know what scenarios in which this round could be used.
@Mirind0R You make it sound like Tungsten Nytrillium is a single element it's a combination, which prob doesn't make it that much harder than brass. This conversation was never an argument about penetration it's about going into harms way with a suppressed super silent cycling subsonic round, not leaving an exit wound in an human and not hitting a hypothetical hostage on the other side, which make it essential for CQB with hostages involved.
@oxbcat how is .22lr rifle ammo? because they make rifles and carbines in .22lr? cuz if so, according to your definition. 45 acp; 45 LC; 38 SPL; 357 mag, 44mag; 9x19P; and pretty much any and all popular pistol calibers ever made aren't pistol calibers but rifle calibers.
Is it because it has "rifle" in the name? cuz then according to that logic the 9x19 P was invented by ancient romans and .50 BMG only works in machine guns made by browning arms company..
This is excellent. As if I didn't have enough to work overtime for, this is DEFINITELY high on the list now.

it's only a "Sniper Rifle" in the hands of a trained sniper. Otherwise it's just a rifle.

@IMFDB 100 grain 980 fps, might as well go 9mm.
there is no RIFLE subsonic ammo.
also that crap wouldnt even cycle the action on an ar 15.

@IMFDB as a matter of fact 9mm has more energy than that.
now you probably have never fired a 9mm but at 30 m it drops like a spastic haji thrown off a blackhawk heli.

@IMFDB yeah make a bullet entirely out of tungsten, that is several orders of hardness above steel..
then fire a few out of your ar 15 so you can turn it into the first ever smoothbore 5.56. genius.
i dont know where you read your shit
i dont care
its moronic.
