I'm always amazed when I see American videos of small British sportscars... I think "why have this, when in the US you can have a Corvette or Mustang for less money?!"... But when I get to drive my own MG on twisty backroads, I understand :-)
I don't know if there are many TF's in the US, but if you get a chance you should try one. Very sweet on the backroads, could lose your licence very quickly if you're not careful!
I still want a 1969 Corvette convertible though...
My dad had a million of these things when i was growing up around my 16 17 and 18 era. i drove the shit out of em. We used to drift on dirt roads and my freinds would drive one and we would host our own road race..i gotta question..u have a million chances to make the perfect video why post the one thats horrible.
its not like you only got one chance to make a video..u coulda just made a new one..one where u could actually show the accel. instead of having to slow down for a jeep.
I sold the car, but it was rebuilt .020 over with flat top pistons and was decked for a little under 10:1. I was running a 275 cam with the needed doubleroller chain etc...
It had a lightened flywheel too so the rev was snappy. Fun car.
I searched for "MG midget tall driver" and found you. :) I'm 6'6" and own a couple of classic Minis... was looking for a cool British convertable (and not an MGB) that I could get - looks like I might have to check out a midget! hey - A series powered, too.

That's the TF160, by the way. Modern(ish) MG, mine's a 2004 model.

Very similar to my own '79 (red cars are automatically faster! :P), then. Heard of PRI Race? They specialize in Triumph engines and the cars.
There's also Winner's Circle, who specialize in anything Spridget.

I am thinking about making a camera mount for the car. Then I can do a better job. The little beast sounds really nice.
Thanks

Man, I wish there were more of these. They all seem to end too early. :P
