Oh man, I remember what that was like, trying to complete a song while your offspring try to grab your nose and poke at your ears. They grow up quick. Nice rendition.
omg really good u sound exactly like the voice who sang it for george clooney in the film o brother were art thou this is really good loved it you babys r sweet aswell they are loving it lol
good!! now carve shapes in the beard, raise kids to be musos, kick ass on political campaigns and do your law degree! would love to see your practice when it takes shape.
He is a good dad you can tell when girl poked him in the ear he just looked at her and kept going as i was typing this i heard girl say can you do the cat came back now lol and you all know he did.awsome job dad and kids... I played to my kids also it was a great time together and sang them to sleep most nights wow ty again w owen sound ont
Great video Shane. I've been too aprehensive of posting my "stuff" on U tube but you make it look easy. Kids will never forget and always appreciate their special concerts.
great stuff shane. We play this one often at jam sessions-even do the hillbilly walk thing that you see in the film. Thats normally where the musics stops cos we're laughing so much...
what are you playing when the verse starts-- the little fingerpicking.. i know it's an f-chord but i can't here it completely your voice is too loud..
Hi Rainer I sent you a message but I will comment here too. The way I play Man of constant sorrow is in a non standard tuning (DADGAD) the right hand picking is just a simple 3 note arpeggio from high string to low. Is that specific enough?
*LOL* Hi rightsaidshane: I've watched this video quite a bit, but only now I saw that your daughter came over from behind the camera to tickle you: She probably thought she could raise the difficulty level even more. You've passed her test!!! :-)
I was hoping you would like this one. There is a really great rendition of the tune by Dan Tyminski and Ron Block that I used as a reference. Compared to the Robert Johnson stuff I've been trying to play lately, this was really simple to learn!
I love this and not just because the babies helpin you out! SWEET!

I think the instrumental on that is just about spot on. I especially liked the banjo-esque bit befor the final verse starts...
