i guess my description is a little misleading. it can be done in "realtime" but then you would have the boring setup of the backing rhythem. i had edited out all the setup and then did the litle lead in thing to make it smoother. Glad you liked it.
Good call! that is actually pre recorded just before I did the video. I had been playing aroung with a kind of triplett feel delay setting on the DL 4, about 500 ms, then i tapped in one bar into the dd 20. I played the chunka-chunka bit then as the DD 20 played it back I recorded a bar into the 2889 via tap. the rest is DL 4 500 ms into DD 20 one bar of time over the figure in the 2880. nothing is really hard synced it is just tapped in.
Inspiring! Could you reveal how did the tree notes that appear in the 17th second get there? Did you pre-record them on one of the loopers and then just started the sample by switching the looper on? If so, how did you manage do sync them with the rythm? Thanks!
