I hate this guy. Every time I try to search for some information about repairing monitors, I have to wade through Jestine Yong's bullshit. Only an idiot would try to learn electronics from this asswipe. I wish YouTube would wake up and ban this guy somehow. I just spent the last HOUR tagging his videos as spam and there are still more out there under a dozen different accounts.
1st, I realized I wasted my time watching this video, 2nd, I learned how to stop the video while still playing, 3rd, I learned how to curse against the author of this video, 4th, I learned how to smack my little brother's face because this fucking video loosed my patience, 5th, I learned how to say "fuck" and "damn" because of this video. Wow thanks a lot!
That slit with the picture of the lock has nothing to do with taking the housing apart. I thought the same thing at first as well. You just gotta pry it open.... don't be afraid of getting rough with it either
i cant figure out how to remove the plastic back cover of my monitor, all i see is a little slit with a picture of a lock next to it. theres no screws to romove :(

you have to seprate the frame, start with a screw driver, or somthing flat like a screw driver
