Thank you for sharing this with the world! I really got a lot from these 3 short parts because I don't know any technical details about sounds, I just like different sounds and music made from such sounds. I've been looking at getting my self a Kaossilator to play with. I guess I will also be looking to get a Monotron, perhaps I could find a pre owned bargain :-) Thank you again great videos!

I cant get my monotron to play through my speakers Ive plugged in an aux plug with red white and yellow plugs on one end to my dj console but nothing comes out of my speakers. do I have to do it through a kaoss pad or something?

That sounded really bad!!!!! I don't see how that was musical in any way. In my opinion, the monotron doesn't have enough features to be truy useful. Better suited as a happy meal toy.

@vordkaze Serious? The filter distorts fantastically, it sounds better than many distortion plugins i've heard. By altering the output volume of your source, you can adjust how much it distorts. Another feature that sounds incredible is putting a fast lfo on the cutoff filter to create a sort of decimation/bitcrushing effect. It might be a bit of a toy features wise, but the thing sounds awesome! Sometimes less is more :)
