I always cry when watching this! never delete your channel or ur videos!! Theyre great memories even though i wasnt tall enough when the batman side was open i got to ride the robin one a couple of times and it was the best experience ever! its so smooth and fun!

Also, with the S curves, it worked, but soon caused mechanical problems again. So they decided to demolish the ride
i remember when this was still up and water works (the big boat water ride) was still next to this and this thing was LOUD!!! but i never got to go on it cuz they closed it like 2 weeks before i went last year =( now the dark knight is there and that ride is HORRIFIC!!!!!!! and there's way to many effects in this vid..my eyes hurt now...

What I don't understand is why SixFlags spent the millions to change the twists to the humps when they were just going to take it down that sme year. If they were going to take it down, they shouldnt've put the humps in.
Well I think the plan was to keep the ride after they put the humps in but then the ride encountered some severe problems in 2007 season so they decided to remove the ride rather than fix it for the millionth time
If they did fix it, they would've gotten their moneysworth out of the humps, and both sides might have re-opened. Removing Chiller lowered the economic stock value of SixFlags as a company, and the stock of Premier Rides.

The Dark Knight was a replacement for Stunt mans Freefall, not a replacement of the Chiller. It would have been built whether the Chiller was taken down or not. There have actually been rumors that they are building another coaster that is just as good at the Chiller, slated to be built next year or for 2010.
For Great Adventure in NJ? That's interesting. I went to the one in BG florida, Sheikra, that was pretty good. NJ, needs a dive coaster and they'll have pretty much one of every type of coaster.

See, it sucks that Chiller was removed because not only was it a great ride, it was unique. It isn't the type of ride you could go travel another hundred or so miles to ride. I would have rather have a working Chiller (both sides) than B:TR, Skull Mountain, and TDK.

I was assigned to the Chiller when I first started working there. I usually worked 5 days a week except when the park was open on only weekends of course, than only 2 a week.

In my opinion, Six Flags never made the right decision by removing Chiller. No matter how many problems it had, no matter how much down-time it experienced, I say they should have kept dishing out money until it finally worked. Getting rid of Chiller was probably the most idiotic thing Six Flags has ever done. This park needed Chiller.
I am so pissed. After I got over my fear of coasters after my friends LITERALLY forced me on American Scream Machine (OUCH THAT HURT) I went on everyride in the park that I hadn't. (Not to mention forced my friends on freefall because they were afraid of that ;)) but chiller was closed. Never got to ride it. :'(
Theres only one Chiller, and that was the one we had at Six Flags. Yea, Batman side was never open much, they were attempting to get it up in 07 but it never made it before the ride met its final demise. At least you got on the ride, theres a chance it might be moved to another park but only time will tell.
Management at the park finally decided they had to cut their losses. Between the '06 and '07 seasons they invested a few million dollars having new track custom fabricated and placed onto the ride, and it still would not operate correctly for long during the 2007 season. It was just time for the park to give up on the ride and start from scratch in movie town.
im sad to have been to have not ridden this ride, when i was two and loved batman i went to this park and i said "when im older i'll do it" i went to the park yesterday, and its gone. I was extremely upset about it

The rolls were removed because in the past the ride had managed to become stuck there several times. They were not the cause of last years problem or this years problem. Their are people there working on the problem, but their not always at the ride. Parts of the train are in several locations. Their working on the trains bogies

See, it sucks that Chiller was removed because not only was it a great ride, it was unique. It isn't the type of ride you could go travel another hundred or so miles to ride. I would have rather have a working Chiller (both sides) than B:TR, Skull Mountain, and TDK.

this ride was the best i never go to ride the batman side cause they said the tire of the train stoped moveing and it stoped between the zero g roll and that first loop and people had to be evacuated from the train they said they dont know why it stoped moveing i wish it was still there

I work at six flags great adventure in the summers and I think its too bad that they took down this ride for the black knight ride that they're constructing.

I have a couple of questions you don't have to answer them if you don't want to. When you got hired at six flags did they assign you to the chiller 1st or a different ride 1st? Do you work all week at six flags? How long have you been working at six flags?

I was assigned to the Chiller when I first started working there. I usually worked 5 days a week except when the park was open on only weekends of course, than only 2 a week.

In my opinion, Six Flags never made the right decision by removing Chiller. No matter how many problems it had, no matter how much down-time it experienced, I say they should have kept dishing out money until it finally worked. Go ahead and prove me wrong with as many facts as you can. You cant. The ride didn't deserve to be removed after just ten short years. Getting rid of Chiller was probably the most idiotic thing Six Flags has ever done. This park needed Chiller.

I am so pissed. After I got over my fear of coasters after my friends LITERALLY forced me on American Scream Machine (OUCH THAT HURT) I went on everyride in the park that I hadn't. (Not to mention forced my friends on freefall because they were afraid of that ;)) but chiller was closed. Never got to ride it. :'(

I was only 9 when i went on it now im 10 i miss it so much.
people told me that they were working on the batman side but they just took it down.
I hope they have another chiller somewhere

Theres only one Chiller, and that was the one we had at Six Flags. Yea, Batman side was never open much, they were attempting to get it up in 07 but it never made it before the ride met its final demise. At least you got on the ride, theres a chance it might be moved to another park but only time will tell.

Management at the park finally decided they had to cut their losses. Between the '06 and '07 seasons they invested a few million dollars having new track custom fabricated and placed onto the ride, and it still would not operate correctly for long during the 2007 season. It was just time for the park to give up on the ride and start from scratch in movie town.

im sad to have been to have not ridden this ride, when i was two and loved batman i went to this park and i said "when im older i'll do it" i went to the park yesterday, and its gone. I was extremely upset about it

Sad to say...I went to the park yesterday and...chiller's cobra is missing pieces and both tracks had no track leading to the brakes(where you start going back)so R.I.P B&R Chiller you will be missed =(

The Boss is at St. Louis Six Flags. This ride is at Six Flags in New Jersey. I think you are thinking of the Mr Freeze ride at St Louis. The song is Swing Swing by the AARs.

Its not reopening until next season, sorry. Their doing engineering work on the ride at this point.

The rolls were removed because in the past the ride had managed to become stuck there several times. They were not the cause of last years problem or this years problem. Their are people there working on the problem, but their not always at the ride. Parts of the train are in several locations. Their working on the trains bogies
