There are no toilets in Haiti. I know because I used to live there and still spend half the year in Haiti. Very few people have toilets - and they are very very rich so the job wouldn't be that bad. The rest have outhouses or just go out in the woods. People in Haiti urinate in the streets.

The truth is that there are next to NO public restrooms in the major cities and in an average village of 100 or so homes, you'd be lucky to find 10 really good outhouses and sometimes some villages actually have a family, maybe even two that are rich enough to have an indoor toilet with a septic tank. Get real. I lived in remote areas of Haiti - deep in the Artibonite and on La Gonave... even spent some time in Kay and along the border in barassa.

I was in and out of the capital and main cities like Gonaive, Okay, and up into the ARtibone to Hinch and in that whole region, to the south and even out on La Gonave. I don't know why you have such a problem with the fact that there is no public sanitation in the main cities and that a small percentage of people in the country have toilets or running water. I happen to love Haiti and I don't need to hide the truth about it either.
