The first cruise I was ever on,than we went on the magic,and now the dream in august.My fave thing was the cool chandelier in the lobby.I am finally old enough for the Edge,so thats gonna be one of my hotspots in august can't wait!
@Stellercrys I used this Rotational Dolly. I made a DIY video of it on this channel, its great for those type of shots. People do stare but I just had a blast being creative with it. Oh yes and my girls are so use to having a camera in their face they don't mind the attention.LOL
@superamazing569 I am guess some of the shots that showed rec on it? If so these were shot on a water cam so i tried to differentiate it from the HD footage by adding that lens look.
Great job with this video, inspires me to start working on something similar. We just got from our time on the Wonder last weekend and your video captures the cruise beautifully. You have a lovely family as well! looking forward to part 2!

@llkoolj40 I thought it was just not to use flash photography, and not to use the little LCD screen on the backs of cameras so you don't disrupt others viewing??

I showed this to my wife and she was inspired to capture more video to do something like this. What software are you using for video editing? What kind of light did you use on your daughter when she was sitting in the porthole at night during the video? Are you using a stabilizer/handle for your Canon?
@R2D2builder@R2D2builder No stabilizer I made a little skate dolly you can see a DIY on my other videos. other than that I use a manfrotto monopod. Usually i set up a shot and film as steady as i can then in post i use the stabilize option on the final cut pro editing software .

Did you use any other equipment for your shots? (like when you panned sideways with the girls on the loungers etc?) or was it all hand held?
Amazing job, maybe I'll send you my next vacation vids/photos and you can put together something for me, I just don't seem to do as good a job, lol.
