what most people dont know is that brc isnt the hardest for recon before u go to brc u go to another thing (sorry cant remember name) and its alot harder its ment to teach and prepare u for recon

The current breakdown of USMC Reconnaissance is divided into Division and FMF Reconnaissance, with variations in operational requirements such as airborne, scuba rebreather, tandem free fall, ranger school, and SERE/HRPD courses. Additionally, there is a Recon Qualification Phase between 7-15 weeks within a Recon Battalion>Company>Platoon, dependant on the Marines specialty: Radio, Scout Sniper, Corpsman (USN), Intelligence (0200), EOD, AAV LAR after specialty training schools (7-30 weeks).

Physically this is harder than Army Ranger School, but in Ranger school, even if you finish, you still might not make the cut. You finish recon school, and that's it, you're done.

Talk to a Recruiter. As far as the Recon Requirements go, they are as follows: Have 20/200 near visual acuity or visual acuity not to exceed 20/400 with a completed PRK eye surgery. Normal color vision is recommended, but not required provided the Marine can complete a vivid red and vivid green recognition test.

Thanks for posting this sweed I did this training 25 years ago and except for the tac trainers language which has very much mellowed this brings back alot of great memories . Celer, Silens, Mortalis ("Swift, Silent, Deadly") FOREVER!!!!!!!!.
