Burning Man Festival - An overview

I don't think I'd ever choose to attend, but if somehow I landed here by accident I'd try to enjoy it for a day or two. It just *seems* like a Woodstock for drugged up engineers. I think it's the 'look' of the attendees and that crazy drug dancing that makes me say that. Like one poster wrote: "Burning Man isn't for everyone." True that.

Man, some people who commented on this need to chill out. Burning Man isn't for everyone, that's life. I love going to the Burn (and no, I don't do drugs, I'm not a hippy and I'm not a raver). Not really, it's all about self expression. Burning man has no warmth? that's kind of crazy to say from watching one video about it. It isn't about showing off or anything it's just about being you and expressing yourself honestly as much as you possibly can. Once that is accomplished it's actually very easy to make friends and have fun. Simply put, when you are yourself, it's much easier to be around others that are the same way.

I've been there twice.. it's the most incredible experience I've ever had. The people are phenomenally kind and generous. The art will blow your mind. Take a chance..get your asses out there... make some costumes.. bring lots of water munchies and gifts for your neighbors.. you will NOT regret it!!
