I'd disagree with some of your summary-

She's not ultimately drawn to him because he's "reckless" or a thief- she's drawn to him because he's an "INNOCENT thief". He's a good guy, and that's why she decides to help him (and ultimately falls for him).

Plus, at no point does her father seem at all frightened by the 'kidnapping'; that's her problem in the first place: she WANTS him to be worried for her, but he isn't (even refusing to pay the second, real ransom).

Good trailer though.
