  • Great tribute to the late Ingrid Pitt!. Back around 1970 Hammer Films seemed to be trying to corner the market with the number of gorgeous babes on it's books, but I reckon Ingrid along with Yutte Stensgaard were two of the most boner-inducing hot babes I ever saw!.

  • Watched this countless times. Watched 5 times tonite. Love ya, man! Do another one.

  • thanks for this movie in where eagles dare she was much better than mary ure pure beauty!

  • thank you for this dear lovely friend martyn i miss ingrid so x

  • watched vampire lovers on a whim and she was great in it- just stared at her face the whole time and then the bathtub scene happened and i fell out of my chair

  • @Volkenstein711 I know what you mean. I seen that and my eyes bugged out of my head. =)

  • Great video! :)

I always liked Ingrit Pitt, and, it's great that you included pictures from two of her best films, "Where Eagles Dare" and "The Vampire Lovers."

Thank you for posting this! :)

  • R.I.P. Ingrid Pitt...you will always be my Carmilla. Let the curtains fall one last time...

  • a nice tribute to a true icon and one of the last real glamour queens ,great.

  • @markwelly Thank you very much, I am glad you enjoyed my tribute. =)

  • Hey taintedtannis nice video ...

  • @MASTEREMMO Thank you very much, =) . I poured my heart and soul into this video. I am just glad that you enjoyed my tribute to a true legend and a movie icon, Ingrid Pitt.

  • A beautiful, irreplaceable - and by all accounts - an extremely nice woman. RIP Ingrid.

  • Beautiful tribute to a truly beautiful artist of the macabre. Great song choice as well. Quite fitting in a haunting way. If only the teens of this defunct generation could experience Ms.Pitt's portrayal as a "true vampire lover" instead of the Twilight/fraudulent, soap operish, inept and found wanting anti-performance in the Twilight series...Oh well, I guess you can't force true artistic form down the throat of an intellectually deficient society and generation. You will be missed Ingrid...

  • @gabby4steve I couldnt have said it any better!!! I am glad you enjoyed my tribute!! =)

  • @gabby4steve Very well said! Or should I say, very well SAD? The Twilight generation-it's not that they're unintelligent. They're just superficial and not very discriminating. At least that's the way I see it.

  • An affectionate and moving tribute to a true movie icon.

  • @Maolmhuadh Thank you my friend, I cried my eyes out when I found out she had died. I poured my heart and soul into this video and I am glad to see that you enjoyed it. =)

  • I first saw her in "Vampire Lovers" at Brandt's movie theater in Yonkers, NY in 1970. She made quite an impression on a 13-year-old boy. She was a true beauty. Infinitely sexier than someone like Megan Fox. We'll never see the likes of the her or the Hammer films again. The mystery and eroticism is all but gone from the modern day horror film.

  • @theNifflefoot Amen to that brother!! I first saw her in "Where Eagles Dare" and instantly fell in love with her. She had that natural beauty that most women have to pay big bucks to get now. I agree with you, we will never see another like her or the Hammer films again. You are absolutely right what you say the mystery and eroticism is gone from the modern day horror films. If it werent for Ingrid or Yutte Stensgaard, people today wouldnt have that ultra queer "Twilight" garbage.

  • @theNifflefoot You are absolutely right. First saw Queen Ingrid in the" Vampire Lovers" in Sydney (the Regent Theatre - now long gone) at the same age.

    RIP my Vampire Queen.

  • Well done!

  • @theNifflefoot Thank you very much!! It took me a couple of editings to get it right, When I got the news yesterday and I heard that she had passed away, I felt a part of me die with her. I have always loved her as an actress, a person and as well as an author. Her movies mean a lot to me, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the kind words for my tribute to her. =)
