Michael sounds really relaxed in this interview -- he's talkative and laughs occasionally. Most of his interviews from the '80s after the release of Thriller are kind of awkward, as he usually seems very quiet and reserved, giving simple, tight-lipped answers.

I guess this interviewer put him at ease, or something. She seems nice and friendly, and later on in the interview, is respectful of his wish not too talk too much about his love life, etc. XD

I used to think it was just an act but Michael Jackson was truly the real Peter Pan. He was an eternal child at heart and I believe he never really grew up. How many of us wished we could be children forever? I know I did. I totally understand where he is coming from in that sense. I wish I had known him personally. He would have definitely had a true friend in me. RIP Michael.

Thanks for sending me this. Really refreshing. Michael was so innocent and pure then. I wish he had stayed with his parents. He was sheltered from all the disgusting people who took advantage of him. He must have missed his beloved animals when he left neverland. I feel so sad for Michael. He should have just stuck with his family and the animals like bubbles. The animals didn't have evil parents who forced their children to lie to make money for them and their children.

hmmm, then wherever you looked it up has the wrong date. Or maybe he did another interview with her later. This is from late 83, and was released in 84. And also you see he mentions Billie Jean,beat it and wanna be startin something when referring to music he writes, not anything from bad. ANd he talks about going on a tour with his brothers-which would be the victory tour. He didn't tour with his brothers anytime near 88,lol.

This interview had to be in 1983. Hints...Louie the llama, MJ describing the animals at the Encino house, Diana Ross peeling the skin off Muscles (he talked about this in another interview in 1983). Plus this was definitely before he did Captain EO in 3D since he talks about wanting to do a different sort of space film.

OMG! I'm so in love. Just listening to his voice, makes you fall in love without even seeing his face. His voice is so sweet, sexy and smooth. Yeah, that's why Michael Jackson is so great. Not many celebs are passionate about what they do, but Michael....you can see it in his eyes that he's more than passionate and that's why we love him because we can feel his emotions. He even inspires those who dislike him, and they don't want to face the FACT that he's better than best. Man, I just love him.
