There are a few things like that. I've had times where I rear-end someone and it stops me dead, like a brick wall. Also, sometimes if you slide along a wall you hit an invisible barrier that stops you. :P

I've done somthing simular on the demolition durby. After the small jump i ended up doing a slap wheelie. Lets just say the car did not like take the landing to well. Snapped the axle off and killed the engine.
