I worked as Middle East sales rep for a major UK arms manufacturer in the 90s/00s. It was interesting & fantastically well-paid, but some elements disturbed me.

I’m happily married, but out there we enjoyed the ‘overnight company’ of young girls (16-18YO) as part of our hospitality. This guy is not quite "up to speed" on the international arms trade. (I am a small-time U.S. firearms maker). The dealers, when paid, subsidize billions in UK programs. They are sanctioned by the EU and the UN and face strict penalties for violations. In short, they take far more risks than tax payers, fund most of the lazy idiot taxpayers' NHS, and other governemnt 'well-fare' programs and (listen here Mark:) only sell to sanctioned governments who have not violated human rights regulations!
