  • I HAVE A LOISELI CICHLID 3 YEAR OLD READY TO SPAWN MALE VERY GOOD FISH V RARE IF U U LIVE NeAR LONDON UK COME AND TAKE HIM NO CHARGE THIS FISH IS A REAL CHARICTER .LOVE THIS VIDEO GOOD STUFF.

  • where did you find such perfect driftwood? the tank is wonderful!

  • @aquaxenobia I bought it at a local pet store. It is wood from peatlands.

  • Great tank, i'm a subscriber, the 951 is amazing! What kind of clean up crew do you use for these large tanks?

  • @NorthwoodTimberwolve : normally the filters take care of that, but once in a while I'll go in, together with a friend of mine. The 951 gallon tank goes as follows: I drain 2/3rds of the water with a hose (sucking the debris and algae out), and then fill her up again. The bead filter I flush every 3 months, and the canister filter I'll do every 6 months.

  • Very nice, whered you get the wood?

  • @drkingslend : through local pet shops. They get it from local peatlands.

  • i love your tank can u make a update on it plz and i sub

  • @dakotab619 : unfortunately I don't have this tank anymore. I changed it for the 951 gallon/3600 liter tank ;-)

  • das sum zoo shyt! tight tho

  • Very nice tank dude! I liked it a lot ;)

    My compliments.

  • @Razgriz218: Thanks! Have a look at the new tank: 3600 liters. I worked on it for a year (prep + build + scaping)

  • beauty of a tank, need more java though =D

  • originally I had a lot more java fern in the tank, but then I had to add salt to tackle some diseases. The salt destroyed the ferns unfortunately. I now have a lot of java fern and anubias in the 951 gallon tank: it looks great and grows very well.

  • is this another tank?

  • yes it is: this is the tank I had before the 951 gallon tank

  • What kind of MHL bulbs do you use?

  • They are 70 watts HQI lamps.

  • Looks like 4200K...

  • this tank is by far the best south american tank i have ever seen great job.

  • this is without a doubt the best freshwater set on youtube well done i am working towards this you are a grandmaster of aqurium design . where do the jaguars come from are both the types you have american ? and what are the dimensions of this tank.? and am i mistaken but have you bred an army of convicts in there. or are the very small fish something else. .thank you for sharing.

  • yeah also one of my favourite tanks, you should submit to cichlidforum. was that driftwood collected locally? i also love how dark it is, really finishes the riverine setup. Great tank!

  • o man thts the nicest tank ive seen on youtube

  • How you clean an aquarium without moving stones and snags?????????

  • just replace 25% of the water once a week, and remove dirt from the places you can reach. Also, make sure that there is sufficient water circulation.

  • Nice woodscape, but a little dark.

  • what fish do you have in there, i see a bunch of cons! and i think thats it..

  • have a look at the other videos.

  • huge :D I wish I could afford that for my yellow belly :P

  • What type of wood do you have in this tank? Is it aquarium specific?

  • 5 star tank to me also. really nice!!!

  • wow man awesome tank.. how do you clean the tank?? do you remove everything and then clean or wat?

  • I use a pump to drain the water directly into the sewer. On the other end of the tank I insert a water hose. The pump removes the water a bit faster then the hose fills it, but after 20 minutes I have changed enough water, without spilling a drop. I NEVER remove rocks unless I move house.

  • oo ok. thanxs. don't really understand how you are able to clean without moving anything.. you should make a video of the next time you clean the tank. i'd really appreciate it

  • Excellent tank! definatly 5 stars! keep up the good work!

  • What brand of HQI lamps are those? Price?

    5 stars form me. :)

  • Nice Tank! Your fish look very happy and BIG. How many convicts do you have with em'?

And what gal is your tank?

  • 370g, and about 15 convicts in all different sizes. 2 older couples and what is left of their their offspring. I notice that as long as they are healthy and not stupid, they can go without being caught forever (as long as there are enough places to hide)

  • Just like surviving out in the wild man lol! Your guapotes feed on them and while they breed like rabbits!

  • WOW!!!!!! exellent tank..i like that central american setup...

  • what kind of filtration do you use? nice tank btw.

  • the right side contains a compartment of 20x80x70cm . At17secs into the movie you canb see it best. The water is pumped through the blue filter layers by an ocean runner 3500

  • did you make it or buy it?does it always keep it that clean?

  • around 360 gallons I think.

  • 1400l = 370g

  • yea dude very nice i have a 30 gal now but i just was given a 60gal so i want to sent it up using wood and bigger rocks ur vid helps me alot thank u

  • tank size = 250x80(d)x70(h)
