england don't use squad numbers. if you are playing that day you wear 1 through 11, the other 12 players who are on the bench where 12 through 23. If beckham is playing he'll wear 7, if he starts on the bench 17 or 23.

I've just got one of these and I'm impressed. That is up to the vent holes that make it look like it's been damaged by hard to remove security tags. Yes it is just a polo shirt with an England badge, but it's simple, comfortable and lightweight and when it's out of date as a football shirt, will serve as a smart 'wear anytime' shirt. As for all the "technology" and pretentious bullshit, well, some people get paid for fuck all.

Umbro have been making the England football kit for decades and they make it in England, and some one like Nike or Adidas would make it in some other country like china. So umbro try to keep it true to the country.

the last 6 years of England kits have been great. This idea is really to get people to wear them like polo shirts, and look less like active sports wear, reminds be of that grey euro 96 one which was designed to go with jeans. I thought they looked like hospital orderlies last night...maybe it's a grower
