  • this is just sped up a little...

  • Now why can't the TV production crews play with the audio so that we get to hear something like this instead of the naturally-ASSpirated sound? Or the exhaust system could be manipulated to improve the exhaust note (GP2 cars have an 8-into-1 arragement that gives them a distinct engine note).

  • Really this is Indy car??? the sound looks me as a champ car jejeje, well i was the same experience when i saw the RBR the V8 engine sound was very similar as the V10 engine.

  • Now thats how an IndyCar car is supposed to sound going into 1 at the brickyard!

  • i love the sound they make :)

  • they still sound awful check out a nascar at indy video if you want to hear a real motor

  • @sstroh08 if muscle is what you like I suggest you check out a corvette c6r in person some time.

  • @nezy37 if im thinking of the right one they sound pretty nice too, but the sound of a cup engine in person is like sex lol, if ya like crazy go for a nhra top fueler[1 piston of the 500 ci top fuel hemi creates the total output of a nascar cup engine!], or a military fighter jet

  • Why not just play the sound of a champcar?

  • If you like those, you can watch Nascar

  • Are you kidding me? Those sounded like NASCAR stock cars with no power. The CART/Champcar days of turbo engines were the best sounding machines ever.

  • OMG its the early 90's all over again lol......very clever idea speeding it up like that, i wish they did sound like that...i miss that turbo whistle at low revs on the road courses too...i miss old open wheel :(

  • turbos in 2011. cars will sound different next year.

  • a mi no me aces pendejo!! ese video esta acelerado!! .|.

  • I wouldnt mind seeing 285 into turn 1! lol! in all seriousness, it would be awesome to give more technical freedom to the manufacturers-engineers-mechanics

  • Turbo engines will return in 2011.

  • well over 250

  • This cant be real, thats just too fast theyd have to be doing 250 right then...and some how average a 230 maybe. Its probably fast-forewarded, but i wish we could have seen it in real time, would have been impressive.

  • dude he said that it was fast forwarded in the info Pay attention!

  • Cool, you're probably not too far off. Remember Arie Luyendyk turned qualifying laps at almost 240mph in a Turbo Indycar way back in 1996. I found a video of the qualifying a while back, and it sounds just about the same.

  • lol

  • este video mula esta con otra velocidad de reproduccion los autos indy son rapidos pero estos parecen que van a 800 Km/hora (basta notar el movimiento de la camara que aparece tomando fotos)

  • Uhmm......yeah...I think you're right about that ;-)

  • The only problem is that at that speed, the FAA would REALLY have to be involved.

  • they already have a floor in the pagoda.

  • best sounding crapwagon ever.

  • how is sucking off paper working for CCF now? that fucking site should be shut down forever. pathetic.

ban people who know things and keep a retard that pimps his daughter as an insider. you and marissa should be ashamed.

  • I don't see how Gene Simmons helps the IRL much. :U

  • LMFAO!! I think we should fast forward the crapwagon races just to make them sound better and look faster!

  • lmfao, dude this rocks, but i still think we need turbos, esspeilly now with one series

  • lol they look like theyre going 600mph

  • Sounds like F1 cars

  • thats what i thought
