The joy given to many by Rick & Thel is sometning dear to me. I saw them in concert ia a small NSW country town as a youngster and I have delighted in finding CDs and I must order the DVDs.
All the best with this website and keeping us updated.
Yes indeed I also had a younger sister Susan, who unfortunately had some health problems and passed away at the age of 15. I am thinking about doing a tribute page to her on the website, put up some photos and let people know about her.
We have two skits up on YouTube, showing 'Cousin Ratsack'. Will bring back memories for those who attended their shows, and also let other people in on a little of what it was like. YouTube channel RickAndThelCarey for those interested.
Thank you for the info. I just notice I had misspelt the surname on the video and I've corrected it now. Sorry about that. I also hadn't noticed Thelly stumbling over some words until you pointed it out. It doesn't take away from the video. It's good. Lynne do you live in Qld or WA or one of the other states. I often think of a funny little incident that happened at one of R & T shows. I'll write through the website and relay it to you.
Thank you for writing. I wasn't aware Rick and Thel had any children.
Yes I agree we have to keep the good old traditional Aussie country music alive.
I hope anyone who has any footage of Rick and Thel or anyone else for that matter will post it for everyone to enjoy. Just had a quick browse of the website, it will be great when you get it up and running. I've got a couple more I will upload.

Fancy finding this. There seems to be more and more of Mum and Dad popping up on YouTube, which is great.
I have just started a channel and been updating their website. I plan to put up some clips too soon.
RickAndThelCarey is the channel.
Thanks for keeping the memory of their work alive.
Lynne
