I was confused on the kerfing dimensions. What should the width and depth of it be? And what should the distance between cuts be?

Thanks for another vid,what type of plan would work best for a beginner?I was thinking of buying a parlour plan and using eir b/s and engleman top.Would an OM or dread plan work better?

I think the picture show is a great idea because you can fit more information in a short video.
