Ergo Blessed Mary = Queen of Heaven... What morals do you think that the apostles upheld? What teachings? They were Catholic. Granted their rituals stemmed from Jewish synagouge and their liturgies were much more like Orthodox liturgies today, but they were Catholic. You're religion didn't exist until the 1600s...

It says that Scripture is inspired and necessary—a rule of faith—but in no way does it teach that Scripture alone is all one needs to determine the truth about faith and morals in the Church.This passage does not refer to the New Testament. In fact, none of the New Testament books had been written when Timothy was a child.

The fact that the devil incorrectly interprets Psalm 91:11-12 in his efforts to tempt Jesus demonstrate that we need a properly appointed authority to interpret the Scriptures for us.

I'm not Catholic but the upside down cross is a symbol of what they consider the first pope, the Apostle Peter, who was crucified upside down because he felt he was not worthy to be crucified in the same manner as his Lord and Savior. It is a symbol of the pope. The RCC bears no resemblence to the Church as shown in the New Testament in Acts. Peter would certainly not want to be worshipped and called the holy father.
